How to minimize machine asset downtime: Monitoring systems in real life deployments

ATTENDEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION.

Industrial IoT is transforming the way the world designs, builds and innovates. It is helping to take purpose-built machines and systems, and making them increasingly intelligent. As machines have become more intuitive, so has the need to accurately monitor their health, efficiency, and performance. These features have become an essential part of achieving operational excellence. Sensors have, in turn, been elevated in importance as a critical part of the manufacturing ecosystem. However, only a few assets that are considered critical are monitored with IoT sensors.

In this webcast industry expert, Abhishek Jadhav, will be highlighting case studies where condition monitoring and rotating equipment monitoring solutions help minimize machine downtime in industrial settings. The presentation will also dive into how these solutions have been scaled at the plant level in order to help reduce operational costs, increase productivity, and optimize performance in smart factory and smart building applications.

Learning objectives:

  • How IoT solutions are scalable and affordable across the entire plant, not just for critical assets
  • Sensors in use to accurately monitor the current condition of machines, in order to avoid production shutdowns
  • On-premises or cloud analytics solutions, in order to predict upcoming machine failure by using automated real-time analytics (I.e., predicting remaining useful life or overall machine health)
